What I will want to see is whether the treatment of NOLs will have a significant impact on expected future earnings.

Spoke with Bruce Tobikson, VP, Tres. at Amer. Eco. and he assured me it is business as usual. The company will continue their plan of growth through acquisition. Re: 10K they were granted an extension for a late filing (20 min.) but, were not penalized or fined. Analysts, may have calculated the EPS incorrectly. Amer. Eco. reports earnings in Canadian dollars according to Canadian GAAP rules and in US dollars this means lower earnings, thus missed expectations. The company typically has a low cash balance, about 2 million, but has 107 million in shareholders equity. The recent tumble in share price has not affected their credit rating.
