Is Tribune Greystone a man of God, washed in the blood and filled with the Holy Spirit? What is his motive for appearing on the Ask God thread?
As a child did he enjoy pulling wings off of butterflies? I wonder?
Please don't bring your wrath down upon me, great and mighty Tribune. I simply seek the truth about you and your motives.

What would it take for you to accept Jesus?

James

The Ugly Cord
or
The Craft of the Band

As night fell on the little glade the band grew restless, lurching and yawing for a position around the embattled farmer his unravelling cord rebuked him by striking at his unprotected back. Using their normal methods, sleight of word, and syrup of tongue, they glibly gnawed away at the poor man.

If ye Feel No Shame

or
What is a Word

Listen to you people, is this a rational discussion or a religious discussion. Who do you think is reading this thread, people who think, people who feel, people who want to Ask God like everyone else. Listen to Nancy, appealing to your reason with Scripture. She reminds me of another poster over on the "Let's Talk About our Feelings" thread here on SI who appeals to Scripture with reason.
#Subject-6944
People often get confused over what is a religious issue and what is a rational issue. Alan and Nancy are interesting Christians, if indeed they are Christians. Whenever Nancy's dear heart is threatened up rears Alans rational mind. I nice interesting brand of dualism. It makes you wonder why they claim Christian brotherhood with this man, who doesn't seem to have a brain, just a great devotion ot his religious beliefs and what he naively ??? calls the American Race.

It is pretty obvious if you read this man's posts he feels he is a sophisticated Christian, a great talker of Christian things, he is accepted as a Christian thinker here on SI. I believe he may have an agenda, why ? He is a close companion of an Old Crone here on SI. Between the two of them they manage to handle most people pretty well. They wear there religion out on their sleeve and like Alan and Nancy shamelessly manipulate the community that reads them lightly. Each part responds appropriately as required, playing upon your fears if you think you are a Christian, you have to be careful of these kinds of people. They use the Word of God in a manner that is disgusting to all religious men, crimes against the Church like heresy and blasphemy are handled within the Church, but the religious thinkers are daunted by their irreverent disrespect of God and their casual use of the Bible to curse, damn and frighten anyone who might question their hehigh moral standards

How could you rationally deal with these two raving maniacs. Lots of posters don't like Jane, I wonder why, maybe because she makes statements like this one

As Emile pointed out, the Psalms are in The Torah, The Koran and the Bible. Many of you think that the Enemy is Satan, many of you believe the Enemy is hate, Emile clearly points out that it is those who "teach hatred" who are the enemy, to all religious and rational men, everywhere.

Evening Star
or
Ask God

I am not going to talk about God. This is Ask God, not Say God. There is a clear distinction between the two.
This is very similar to the open/closed universe argument in science, this type of argument does not appeal to the religious man, he has no point of reference. If sound doctrine is found in a book, then the group running around here on SI, passing themselves off as religious people would be an example of sound doctrine.
This is a public forum, you can create threads whenever you want, please go and create a Praise God thread if you believe in any absolute truth, it has no place here, remember, read the thread title, it says Ask God, that means Ask God, see that, Ask God. An atheist would be a shit disturber on a thread called Ask God, right, so would a Christian, yes, so would a Jew, yes, a Muslim, yes, anyone who believes in a Goddess (couldn't resist this paternalistic dig heheheh), yes, anyone who wants to share their absolutes, yes, agnostics, mebbe, a deist like good old Ben Franklin, most definitely Welcome to Ask God. This is Ask God, so if the topic is Ask God, then shit disturbers are those who tell us Who God Is, or What God Thinks or What God Wants, or What God Says, however they try and justify it, the Bible, the Upanishads, The Vedas, The Book of the Dead, The Koran, The Dao De Ching, none are acceptable questions, they are all unacceptable answers, this is Ask God, not Say God.

Logic and Absolute truth are not necessarily exclusive.

Thank You for listening
I hope you heard me
I try my best to hear people, don't you ?
