teri: re EPS estimates:

looks like Olde thinks that the trough in EPS will happen in the summer or fall. I don't think they have a reputation for tech analysis, but most commentators seem to think the same thing. This means that the point of maximal uncertainty and pessimism (that is, the time to buy), will be soon. Stock price tends to trough a few months before the EPS trough. By the time EPS turns up, the stock price will already be up 50% from its lows. All signals are still down: DRAM prices falling, semi companies warning, downgrades, management giving no positive guidance.

Time to buy some puts? Looks like we will be seeing some corrections coming in the weeks ahead. Market has gotten ahead of the fundamentals too fast and we are overdue a good correction IMO.
