There can be no argument that the issues facing the President are unmitigable and insurmountable. This is a moral issue brought about by an extremely complex and rarefied exposition of self versus responsibility to the greater good. The questions raised by the
emotive circumstances induced by the disparity in behavior between a public servant and a private individual are certain to raise questions and provoke controversy for generations yet to come.

While the entire setting of the attempted prosecution is problematic; it is perhaps more necessary due to the strictures contained within the constitution and even more important the unwritten common law which exhorts a primary morality be upheld at the highest levels. That being said, the rubric undertaken by the special prosecutor has provided an unnecessary stranglehold on the executive and his functionality as the prime enabler of popular culture and generic leadership. Perhaps the ideal denouement to disengage the finality of this precipitous moment in American History is for a resolution based on an ideal rather than completion. Unfortunately, the polemic has created such desensitivity between the existing protagonists that any meaningful reciprocation can only lead to more bellicose insurgency.
