Just started a brokerage thread techstocks.com on Preferred Capital Markets. IMO it does not seem to be like a regular on-line brokerage firm where one sends/waits for confirmation through a web browser. I'll find out in the coming days.

Please post if you have any experience with this firm.

Should be zero.

In fact where I trade(and I asume others are the same)you would still get interest on the $10000 you put up.It would not leave your money market.

Usually the method of calculating margin is on the margin agreement you signed with the broker.

If you can't determine it, call them. Some broker/dealers may not charge margin for buying & selling the stock the same day.
