Wow!
Thanks Douglas for the great find! Do many people read this magazine? I have to say, it is terribly refreshing to see an FC article that finally seems to treat the competitors fairly. I think I want to marry mary. :-)

Douglas,

Truly outstanding reference. I have been thinking about the backplane issue and the CERN test battery. I would predict that only the Silkworm and the MKII would be transparent on this test paradigm, because you could easily exceed the backplane throughput of the other switches. If this is true - it should be a strong selling point.

Does anyone agree or disagree?

George D.

Douglas,

Great Find. That is the best researched and fairest article on FC/ SAN that i have seen so far. Read it twice and still can't find any quotes from Brenda !
