Hi Zoltan, that was a very apt observation you made last night about Reginald B. Arturo. Professor Irwin Corey is "the world's foremost authority on something."

LOL

Duncan, I just heard Clinton say, when asked about invoking executive privilege, that he didn't personally authorize it, and that he knew little about the situation....oh dear, when the cat's away those mice do play......bp

Well, Duncan, that was an interesting editorial. I particularly liked the title--William Milhous Clinton. Very subtle!! It is hard for me to believe that Nixon had more of a residue of conscience than Billy, though. I guess I am not that cynical yet.

Out on the Left Coast we sort of muddle along with our mostly liberal provincial newspapers, and while the editorials are not so long or clever, I liked this one in today's San Francisco Chronicle about Executive Privilege, particularly the reference to "Kenneth Starr's long-running Whitewater probe that continues to move along relentlessly like a dirty snowball gathering more filth as it rolls and grows." Nice imagery!! You will be relieved to know that this latest White House strategy is not really playing very well out here, either. Even Monica's father is upset!!
