Well, I will definitely agree that some of the women looked like fashion victims. Madonna comes to mind immediately, although she did radiate strength and good health. I thought Kate Winslet's dress was very beautiful. I tend to like medieval things better than modern ones, though, and hers was in that style. Nicole Kidman's green, heavily embroidered dress at the last Oscars, which was somewhat Oriental in appearance, was also one of my own favorites.

Does anyone know the significance of Celine's necklace? I assumed it was something historic having to do with the Titantic, but is that true? I guess I would have preferred the appearance of such a massive piece against skin rather than cloth.
