The sad thing is that it probably won't do anything for the stock
tomorrow while MSFT will trade is the 90s, up more than 10% from
today.
Had I put my money in MSFT instead of SUN I could now retire...
Dishartening... Still counting on SUN though, I'll just be a little
older...

It is good news that sunw won its first day
in court. But, what is the material effect
to sun's earnings due to this? Is there
a price that MSFT might be asked to pay to
rap its knuckles for breaking the licensing
deal?

If not, this is a hollow victory for sun.
Microsoft has already won because it has
already established Internet Explorer.
Will people stop using IE or a java product
from msft, just because it will not say
java compatible??

I think, unfortunately for us sunw shareholders,
there is no upside in this news. Also, there
is no downside for msft shareholders in the
longterm.

My 0.02 dollars worth.
