I agree, Wink.

As much as Little Engine would like to see a "screwup" (what happened to his/her benevolent attitude of evening last?) I think the negotiations are far enough along where the terms are fairly well set.

Typically, deals are based on a mutually agreeable date which is prior to the final announcement. Firamada was able to express with a certain degree of confidence last week that the exchange would be 4:1. That tells me that the deal, in principle, is probably done.

Regards,

Scott

IMHO

In the original statement Ira made, he mentioned the fact that the aquired company is close to being delisted. ATXI does not quite fit this profile. They are a functioning, profitable and liquid company, as it appears from what research I've done. The only person feeding this frenzy of a merger with ATXI is LE. He (or She or It) has posted on yahoo, SI, and if you look around, you might catch his handywork on other message boards.

IMO

LE's intensions and research leave a great deal to be desired. From what I read of his previous posts on this thread, (within the last 2-3 weeks) LE is just short of being a sabatour. I personally do not believe ATXI is the target company simply because of their MN (not formally mentioned or verified by anyone) location and a similarity in the amount of shares. Give the source and history of this information I would place less than 10% chance of it being correct.

Just my opinion.

Laz

While it seems that few agree that ATXI is the target company, I haven't seen any other guesses! Mathematically speaking, ATXI has 1,413,449 outstanding shares, and the news release states 1,413,913. This is only a difference of 3 hundreths of 1%.

Even if we picked a random company, the probability that they would have an outstanding number of shares that was this close would be about 1 in 5,400. (Assumes potential companies have less than 5,000,000 shares). ;>)
