Microsoft was up over 4 points in after hours.

S&P 500 JUN98 1119.70 +260
E-MINI JUN98 1119.75 +275
SEP98 1131.75B +300
NSDQ100 JUN98 1223.00A +740

The end is almost here. Look for us to get close to 10000 in the coming weeks. Enjoy it while you can. The signs of mania are all around us. We may never catch a glimpse of 10000 in our lifetimes again.

When I read Maffei's comments it sounded more like a warning. Any other stock ( in any other kind of market?) would've cratered on this sort of forecast. I read it again--it still sounds like a warning. Look for MSFT to open strong and finish the day lower. BWDIK?

Mike, people are ignoring the tremendous slow down in top line growth on soft. Not only vs last year but sequentially. It is way down and getting lower.
