You could look at TGNT and ARTT. The former is way behind WCII but has cash to catch up. ARTT is a reseller and I don't consider it a viable investment, although I did think about it. Both would be investments similiar to WCII.

Other possibilities in telecom ? TGO,QWST and MMG.

Some great telecom ideas have already been suggested. Keep in mind that WCII has conservatively, about 50% upside (100% if leveraged by margin) over the next 9 months, and significantly more than that through '99.

But if you ARE looking to diversify, you might take a peak at WCOM in the telco group. Best is to find some folks with a similar time horizon and see what some of the OTHER threads they post on are.
