TA: Thanks for the useful article on the placebo effect. It certainly is real factor in ED. Placebo consistently has a 15-25% efficacy rate in ED clinical trials.

Good investing!

Tunica, I just got back from the European association of urology meeting in Barcelona. VVUS was there with a grand display. No new stuff was presented on MUSE. PFE was there proclaiming it was the new gold standard in Impotence although there was no frank marketing of their drug.
A personal friend of mine is running the muse study for Canadian approval at our university and he commented on the high drop out rate because of pain. Patients wanted to wait for Viagra

TA Great post! The placebo effect in ED is unbelievable. The BS that Ed is 80% organic is moronic. A self serving documentation by the ED experts to facilitate reimbursement which only pays Dr. visits and expensive studies if the problem is "organic". Hence the discovery that most of the ED is organic and not psychogenic. No way can Viagra lose but the dropout should be enough to make Vivus a real winner. All IMO Ed

OK, let's all hope for a placebo effect with the VVUS
