Raising The Bar...

>>>TAVA could pop to 16+ in a heartbeat if news is released into this action, and the profit-taking pullback would be to about right here at 14.<<<

Excellent point David...

TAVA continues to raise the bar... TAVA is now in that "Disbelief" period... The stock keeps going higher (ala AOL, NSCP, etc.), and before you know it the stock is splitting... The more disbelief, the higher we go... When too many people start believing, we will be near a top... That's Quite a way off...

David,
being short is not so different to being long and taking profits. I still make a judgement of a good time to buy and a good time to sell, but execute the trades in a different order.

It would be surprising to me if people were not doing the sensible thing and turning at least some of their paper profits into real cash.
After a 'no news' run-up on a stock with a very enthusiastic following but no actual good results it is not unusual to see a fairly sharp correction, or (feels worse!) a steady drift off. The emotion among the stockholders makes for a vulnerability and potential for tape painting.

Which institutional buyers are buying at 13 3/4 and how much are they buying?
