On your number 2), look back at post #1220 and see the release from 3/25/97. The units were at that time ready for testing the next month (supposedly).

I just see a couple of more particulars about the arrangement between the 2 companies, but now would really like to know what happened in that year that:
1) they couldn't finalize the new company arrangements
2) the product appears to be at the exact same point in development a year later.

Also, maybe tgs can confirm what Tom suggested: BTC chose AGTI for its best (and I think he said only) fixed base system.

Anyone speculate on why Tom said that SEGA would be best to know the details on the private placement percentage of the SGT purchase program?
