Okay, perhaps I misunderstood the article I was reading regarding Julie's birthdate. My reading comprehension seems to be slipping a LOT lately!!

Did you see her in McCabe and Mrs. Miller? She was romantically involved with Warren Beatty (who wasn't)? I thought that was a wonderful movie.

What you do not understand, Duncan, is that Frasier IS like a PBS program because it is so much about feelings and thoughts. That is, of course, the only reason I am attracted to it, except that is makes me laugh and laugh and laugh!!!

I do hope you give it a try.

Has it been mentioned that "Darling" was Julie Christie's first major movie? I can't recall whether she received an Oscar for her performance but recall that she was nominated. Another bit of trivia is that Rod Steiger, Julie Christie's co-star in
"Dr. Zhivago," shares her birthday.
