My take from the call was that since they will be moving their HQ to Las Vegas, that they would want an American Exchange. And if not Nasdaq, why not AMEX?

I don't think they would like to go "backwards" from a BB to a Canadian exchange.

Also SEGA Japan owns 12% of Sega Gaming Tech. of Vegas.

TO ALL: Letter of Intent vs. Letter of Understanding:

<g> I'm a newbie trader, but this I can help clarify for y'all (I'm an old paralegal):

From Black's Law Dictionary: (my emphasis added)

Understanding: in the law of contracts, an agreement; An implied agreement resulting from the express terms of another agreement; A VALID CONTRACT ENGAGEMENT of a somewhat informal character.

Intent (Letter of ): customarily employed to reduce to writing a PRELIMINARY UNDERSTANDING of parties who intend to enter into contract.

Hope this helps clarify.

SEGA Gaming Technologies is a company that was formed when a group of brokers and speculators bought the rights to use the SEGA name from SEGA Japan a couple years ago. They have the right to market products using the SEGA name in the Bingo and other legalized gambling markets.

Supposedly the Japanese managers at SEGA's parent company were reluctant to subject their company to the scrutiny that would be required to enter these markets.
