Well I just listened to the CheckFree presentation at the Paine Weber Internet Conference(it was this past monday).

The Checkfree CFO said they expect an annoucement THIS WEEK (3/23) that Citi will be joining MSFDC as a full partner (money+e-bill engine in hand), in other words this is no rumor. It seemed as if CheckFree was advertising this in order to cushin the announcement (I'm sure MS will pull out all the stops for this announcement). In addition he said CheckFree is on target to break even this quarter, and profit in the next;-) ...and expect year end (6/30) revenue close to 235 million. He went on to say it is very easy to make projections in transaction processing.

>>>OK Tom - get out your crystal ball, tell me my cych and ckfr will re-write history and that LA will one day get a football team. Tad bumpy these days but very patient. Just thought I'd toss one at ya - ne flame pas.

Well most can read, and Intuit reacted to the news in a positive light. Which they seem to be doing when anything comes out which they've signed into. Last year now, that was a different story...for Intuit. That stock was a Corpse.....

Right now CheckFree is far from a Corpse......but the investment community doesn't understand it either....or should I say the investment public doesn't realize the value of something they don't know anything about. They don't have any concept of receiving and paying bills over the internet.....none! Why, because it hasn't been offered for them to do!

The bet is, once offered, they will do it......especially if it's free, saves time, and helps them to organize their finances...

The move yesterday by BoA breaks all the rules...they are the one which re-wrote history...they have EMBRACED the web as a delivery channel. More Banks will follow....and like Benny said, I just want to be on the back end. We are.....

If consumers pick up on it.....CheckFree will be a footnote at the bottom of the page, and you and I will have a bunch of Money!

Shopping is already taking off......don't worry about CYCH.

I stopped tracking Football........
