And the reason they do not announce his candidacy right away is?

Question: if the CEO was to be approved at the AGM, what is the minimum advance notice that must be given to shareholders prior to the meeting?

I disagree. He will likely announce soon. Perhaps Friday. Unless he is still irresolute. Simple PR announcement. Just a gut feeling.
