Hi Paul,
The Semi sector remember, is still coming down from the 60% level it was at before. It is still moving down. You need to watch your positions considering the sector could still move down if there is an overall market correction. If the sector reverses up under the 40% level, the field position is good. We would like to see the reversal up.
An example of this is last October. Actually, September when the Semi's were the first sector to peal off before the correction. They were down I think 20% from above the 70% level when the correction occurred. Eventually the semi's reversed up but it wasn't until the reached 16% that they reversed up.
AMAT did hold support and has reversed up from there. Your stop is 31 which breaks a double bottom and the bullish support line.
