I called Walgreen to get some information on what the long-term plans are for this program, why they chose the Cholestech device, etc. Left a message - will post after I talk to someone.

Meanwhile, I called the 888-837-8669 number to get a location near me that was doing this test. Unfortunately, talking to someone at Walgreen, I found out that this program has already been going on and they are no longer doing testing in my city. Apparently, CTEC made this announcement late. If anyone else can call and do the test, I'd love to hear about the experience. But you better call soon because the program won't last much longer.

Dennis...sorry, I don't track short interest, so don't have that number for you. Looks like there was a modest amount of stock waiting to take advantage of the profits ... So I picked up a few more shares cheap this morning... The run to 16 was a bit much for an announcement that was more or less expected in one way or another...CTEC has wanted to get the LDX into a chain, so could have been expected to be working it (IMHO)...
If this quarter's earnings come in, up 40% over the prior quarter, however, your projected run to 18 could happen pretty easy, I suspect..
