Interesting article on marketshare and LRCX at: biz.yahoo.com From these numbers, Lam seems to be doing very well in the flexible cluster tool market, and much more poorly in the nonflexible cluster tools. If terms of future success, it would seem that if the flexible clusters grow faster than nonflexible, then they will likely do very well in the future. You mentioned that some of their products were "late to market". Which ones were you referring to? There 3 most recent products, 2 cluster etchers and the CMP polisher + cleaner came out when they said they would.
