I am going to try once again to get some dialog going on here, since we finally have a little bit of momentum as of late.....

Here is a sampling of what Maxwell has been spending its time and effort on lately......

When Maxwell delivered their initial order of Ultracapicitors to the automotive co. for use in hybrid vehicles last year, the Ultracapacitors cost the auto co. around $5,000 a unit. It took about 72 units for that 1st car at a total cost of roughly $360,000. Ouch!!!

Here's the good news, though.......

Those same Ultracapacitor units are being sold by Maxwell for $200 now......

And the Co. is targeting to get the retail cost down to $15 a unit in 2 years......

This would still assume margins of 30 - 35% on the product......

Pretty amazing if you ask me. I think all of those years of hard drive disc manufacturing has paid off for Ken. A very competitive business that can be. Hopefully Maxwell will start benefitting from that same manufacturing experience as they start to mass produce product. Keep in mind, though, that these things take time. Patience will hopefully be rewarded.....

Best regards to everyone,

Toast
