TSO: It is important to separate the satellite set top box market and the cable set top box market. LSI is a big-wig in the former and a relative nobody in the latter. Related to this TCI is pushing cable "modems" for consumer stores starting this summer but no sell yet since the market is still tiny (700k cable modems installed this far? analog modem sales expected to be several tens of millions this year) Always fascinating how technologies have to fight it out for "eyeballs" etc.
