The books Monica apparently bought related to phone sex, one of her specialties as detailed on Tripp's tapes. AND???? So it was a hobby of hers, she wanted some to-do books? How to improve her style and content? Sorry, bucko, I find this development extremely sinister. What if she'd also happened to buy a copy of the Kama Sutra? What would TAHT prove? And who HASN'T bought a copy of the KS at one time or another? Sorry, this is genuine fascism. And there really ARE books about phone sex? And Ken Starr KNEW THIS? Hmmmmm. "Hi! This is Ken! Do you mean there are HOW TO books on phone sex? It is not really that hard to figure out on your own!!! Well, with an exciting, loving and thoughtful partner, anyway. (I guess that leaves Billy out.) Tripp said in Newsweek that she was concerned for Monica's future, because she could hardly even compose a coherent letter on her own. She also did not get a job Vernon Jordan referred her to because she didn't pass a simple written expression test. So I guess I am not surprised she would have to read a book about it!!
