Sure would like to hear from others who have been to the show..
This guy Brian may be reporting accurately, however he is a brand
new poster, a Visitor as of today, and thus has little credibility,
however some long term posters have lost credibility also, in my
book for:
1. slamming "unbelievers" ( those who don't agree that PTSC is the greatest)
2. Raising expectations too high
(even if their product IS great, how come noone is buying?)

Brian,

If you are a shareholder I suggest you call the company and talk with Paul Berlin. He will be able to fill you in on what is going on
with the company much more thoroughly than I could. Beyond that I'm
afraid I can't give you any specifics, it would all be conjecture on
my part which I would rather not engage in. Suffice it to say I feel
very positive about Patriot. The technology is excellent and our chip
has a price/performance that will be hard if not impossible to beat
IMO. If we can land another design win or two alot of corporate heads
will be turned in our direction. In fact, alot already are.

As far as our demo at JavaOne is concerned, it may be "lame" in
appearance but it beat everyone else's demo of a java chip. At least
it EXISTS...

Brian,

This is the same impression I got at the ESC I attended. PTSC still has no clue on how to market. Spend the extra coin on getting some fancy case to stick the test board into, put up some exciting decorations around the booth. Hand out some cool junk. Get a booth babe. DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dang folks, it almost that they want to fail.....8-(

Rod (Can't believe PTSC) Beckwith

The above stated views are mine, not my employers.

Brian, the Java One conference is not COMDEX - Java One is a tech conference not a consumer show - GLITZ isn't needed - also my understanding is that PTSC's demo is an NC using the PSC1000 Java microprocessor - how do you GLITZ that up - you look at the results - I've never known the size of the booth as a determining factor when delivering a message to possible customers - also understand they came away with more than 50 new leads - G
