Scott you echoed my thoughts exactly!

PE of 3Com here means absolutely nothing unless one looks at the reasons why.

I am frankly surprised how well the stock held up the last few days, that's very bullish going forward with the new business plan!

Scott could you please number some of these new products. Ethernet cards have become cheap and a very low margin business. 3Com has strong competition there. Modems are not selling like hot cakes anymore as they did when all the Internet hype started. Could you be a little bit more specific with regard to the new business plan. Are they going to attack CISCO or ASCEND ? Unfortunately the way I see it is CISCO and ASCEND eating into 3Com.

Scott, today action showed very strong Institutional support as I posted yesterday. The chart still looks perfect so far. The next hurdle is the $38 resistance level. It'll be at $42 if it can beats $38 handily in the next couple weeks.

I cannot explain why coms should break-out - TA doesn't care about that. But of course, the catch is if it doesn't break-up it will break-down !

Scott says <<The stock has been a piece of shit for a long time - it is not at highs. Disregard P/E. P/E's are meaningless on turnaround tech plays...I guess if we all followed your style we would have bought MU on their killer earnings a couple years ago when it hit 95. Things really looked great. The only problem was it dropped right to 18.>>

I thought the same thing when MU went from 95 to 55...and again at 45...finally sold at 30 and watch it go to 18.

Good luck,
Don
