I have no objection to the fact, if it's the case. But you seem to feel that theirs was a noble union, whereas Hillary's and Bill's was not. Marriages are not all the same; what suits one couple may well not suit another. I doubt very much whether Arianna cared about the sexual aspect of it: my guess is that she wanted money and position. And a husband who might make it on the national political scene. So. He blew a lotta the money on his ill-fated Senate race. And by the time it was over it was clear that he didn't have an ice-cube's chance in hell of a bigtime career. So bye-bye. HAH! 12400!

Wait just a minute, Duncan!!! I think you have probably read enough of my boring and repetitive posts now about this issue to know that being gay is just another thing about a person to me, and is not a negative at all. In other words, simply a fact, if indeed it is true, and I do not know it to be a fact in this case. San Francisco is just a place where gay culture is so prevalent that word travels fast, and there is kind of a long list floating around of people who are closeted homosexuals. Michael did take an apartment in Hollywood after the separation, which was amicable, and Arianna moved to Washington. I was addressing this issue simply in the context that IN MY OPINION, there was less to the Huffingtons than met the eye, or something. Arianna definitely was the brains of the outfit, and they put on a nauseatingly self-righteous family values act during the campaign. It just seemed a little phony to me!!! I guess I do have more respect for open homosexuals than closeted ones, now that you have forced me to think about how I feel.
