Does anyone have any views on a company called Netrix (NTRX). Netrix recently announced a voice/data/fax-over-IP gateway product that delivers both voice over IP and voice over frame relay and the ability to gateway between the two technologies. The company is targeting both the enterprise network market as well as next-generation service providers and ISPs. In a 3/26 press release, NTRX claims that its products "delivers solutions capable of up to 2,000 ports at a single site" and that it "is the only fully scalable solution in the market that is shipping now." Based on the company's stock price, it does not appear that the market is giving much credence to this VoIP product.

>> i would like to know which stocks you feel will be the winners for the short and long term.<<

Steve, can't do that. But from what we are seeing now it's a safe bet that the winners will be a diverse lot in nature, and we can now see that the pure plays will not be alone in deciding or riding the future. I think that a compelling question would be which ones would be acquired and by whom. Anyone care to comment on this aspect?

You may want to look into a basket of the proven ones, which you can discern from the charts; that would be about as good a bet as I can suggest. Good luck.
