Furthermore,

I just looked at the last 3 month charts for all 20 of the Technology: - Computer Networking companies (on DLJ), and NOT ONE of them had similar price declines when compared to the curves of MRVC. I do not think the last 1 year charts would show anything different.

I think this should be brought to the attention of the SEC.

Jack, I'm glad that someone other than me has noticed this ubnormal behavior. To make sure that this is correct, I spent quite a bit of time already watching trades going through real time. I have tiled two windows on my computer so I can see both open market and Nasdaq level II trades (institutional trades), it was obvious that more than 80% of the volume was MMs, they did not allow the price to get over 24 or below 23 for long, I suppose that the latter is good news but how long is it gonna last?
I also noticed that a large buy volume took place at 23 1/16 to 23 1/4 level by the MMs and a light sell volume 23 5/8 level, but should'nt this drive the price up? I don't understand!! I welcome any input on this from the more experienced.
