Bob, Welcome to DCTC, and I hope that you will take the time to look into the wealth of info available on this company. From the numerous timely filings on Edgar, this website, DCI's website, the DCI 1-800-935-7788 info number and of course investor relations at DCI. It's been this wealth of information that both made me decide to get into DCTC originally and allowed me to keep at least part of my sanity during this protracted period where the share price has been depressed.

I have actually been thinking today about how the perceptions of someone new to DCI would differ from someone well informed that has been in this stock for a while and I think that you have touched on some of those in your post. It's natural I think for a newcomer considering investing in DCI, or perhaps with only a small position and not a lot of insight into the company to want to ask hard questions. I know that I did when I first got into DCTC, geez just getting past the fact that it was a BB company was tough for me as I recall. The understanding of why the management of DCI is rather special and the faith that develops over time as a result of seeing consistent efforts to look after shareholders takes time to develop. I think that some of these hard questions are in turn percieved by some as a threat or a challenge by long term "believers", and I will admit myself to having been on the defensive. The fact is however, we need to have legitimate hard questions asked and answered on this thread IMO, to show newcomers and lurkers that hard questions can be asked without being them being slammed. The only significant problem that I see DCI facing at present, based on my own DD, is that our investor base, while growing, has not grown quickly enough to absorb the CC shares sold while keeping the stock at a reasonable level. While there are other options for DCI in it's current position other than to just use stock for M/A's, there is no doubt in my mind that the low share price makes Joe's goals for the company more difficult to achieve. Bottom line IMO is we need to expose DCI to new potential investors. We look to Joe to do the CNBC piece, or to get serious with a PR firm but I think that this BB medium could over time bring in a fairly large number of new investors and we could all do our part to help. How could we do this? Certainly not by hyping or pumping the stock, that is the last thing we need and I can assure everyone that Joe M. would not want this. (which btw is why Joe will be the only person from DCI posting on this BB, so he can assure that there will not be any hype from the company) There is no need at all to hype this stock anyway as it's history, fundamentals and the wealth of info I already alluded to is there for inspection to anyone that wants to do some DD. I would suggest we as a group make a little effort to welcome newcomers, and to do what we can to answer there sometimes difficult and pointed questions. I actually think that this is already starting to happen? But won't this embarass us if someone new comes on the BB just to slam us? Yep, and that's the risk, but I think we'll survive it, I KNOW I will.(G) One other suggestion is that we try to stay away from absolute statements about what is going to happen and when. It's not a lack of faith in Joe that makes me want to suggest this, just my perception of reality. To me it sounds like hype, even if it is not meant to be, when I read that all we have to do is wait 6-12 months and we will definitely be at $10/share or higher. Pretty good chance? Yes, I think so, but the reality is that you don't get a potential 500%+ gain without some risk and we need to be willing to talk about that part of the equation too when the issue arises. To anyone reading all this, these are just my own thoughts and suggestions, this is not "my" bb and I am just trying to generate some food for thought here. I welcome any comments, positive or negative. And to any newcomers, welcome.

Did you get your banana Bob? (G)
