the rules are not yet in place to enable software to be 'Euro Ready' but the big s/w houses have made commitments that they will be ready.
Not PSFT doesn't claim to be ready yet - they can't.
There has been a call to delay EMU as companies are currently outlaying resources on fix the year 2000 problem. Interesting PSFT acknowledgement of the y2k boost to sales.
