Pat - Long Island Lighting Co., (LILCO) is an American Tradgedy. Energis could turn LILCO around, but everyone hates LILCO. They don't have a competitive cost advantage due to being a union shop. They destroyed Long Island and the corruption in government forced it back to the ratepayers and not the stockholders.

The electric utilities have rights of way and are laying cable via helicopters. I guess you know this.

Yes, the electric utilities are looking into telephony, it is a widely known fact. However, Cablevison Lightpath (I think it's them)signed up alot of residential customers and they were unhappy with their service and returned to their local RBOC.

Everybody thinks the telephony is easy, but it's not that easy.

PSInet is the hot commodity. I don't own any, but my wise mother does. Mom's no fool, but she raised one.
