I hate to change the subject but I have been thinking about this conference this week and whether RNTK will announce there. If I remember reading properly, TAVA announced it would pursue Y2K during the first Cruttenden Conference (this may be wrong) but waited until after the second conference to announce its contract. Now I've never been to any of these conferences but maybe it is considered appropriate to discuss the business plan but not to actually announce contracts during the presentation. If this is true there may be a buying opportunity just after the show.

Just my thoughts.

Eric

To all:

In any case, I have a question someone here may be able to help us out with. I'm trying to come to an idea of the time frame for a possible Texaco relation which many here are assuming will happen over the next week or so.

Over on Rentech's website at gastoliquids.com
you'll find the text of a speech that the CEO gave containing the following remarks:
<<RENTECH'S GAS TO LIQUIDS BUSINESS STRATEGY IS TO FORM A MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH A STRONG, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND RELIABLE COMPANY TO EXPLOIT OUR TECHNOLOGY AT LARGE SCALE ON A WORLD WIDE BASIS FOR ITSELF AS WELL AS WITH THIRD PARTIES. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS GOAL WILL BE ACHIEVED BY THE SUCCESSFUL CONSUMMATION OF OUR PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED NEGOTIATIONS WITH TEXACO. WE ARE OPTIMISTIC THAT THE OUTCOME OF THESE ONGOING NEGOTIATIONS WILL BE POSITIVE AND BELIEVE THAT A RELATIONSHIP WITH TEXACO WILL BRING A WORLD WIDE PRESENCE, AN UNPARALLELED DEPTH OF EXPERIENCE IN THE GASIFICATION OF ALL MANNER OF CARBON-BEARING MATERIALS AND THE CAPITAL REQUIRED FOR FULL TECHNOLOGY EXPLOITATION....>>

This is the clearest and strongest statement that I have found looking through publically available sources (woe to them if this doesn't pan out....). Now, does anyone know the date on which this address was given? The timing of this statemtn seems to be critical. It is not listed at the site anywhere that I can find.

Thanks.
