You have one good point, "if story is credible". Do you really think Media-Markt, Dell, Compaq, etc. would sign at this time new contracts with a company just before it breaks.
>>

Well thanks for giving me some credit for something. The answer to your question is "Absolutely". The reason is "Maybe they don't know".
From what I've read these are "bundling deals" where the software is included with a computer at very little revenue to the company who is bundled. The bundles add value to the "Whole Product" of Dell and Compaq. Bundling is usually what happens to products when they are on their last leg; or companies seek bundling deals to get the product on peoples desk for next-to-nothing.

Bundling deals are struck between sales and marketingUsually there is very little due diligence performed by the bundler with regard to the companies they are working with. The bundler just wants a lot of stuff to ship with thier product.

I've been on both sides of this before. I know. Bundling deals are "eye wash". Great press release, very very little revenue. Products on store shelves or products shipping in a catalog bring revenue.

When I said I was in this business, I meant Commercial Software Devleopment. Shrink Wrapped and Enterprise Software through a variety of distribution channels.

<<. I belong to the MS haters, too. MS has great ideas, but up to today I've not sen one NEW MS product with good quality. Always VERY POOR quality. >>

I love this kind of comment. Everyone hates a winner. Gogo, how does someone become worth $45,000,000,000 selling VERY POOR QUALITY to 21% of the worlds population? Dumb comment.
