For me, connecting white supremacy and Christianity has about as much validity as associating homosexuality with pederasty. Yes, you will find them together but they are not related really. They are perversions of something. It is something else that threw these sickos into their hatefilled existences, but Christianity makes a convenient and easy excuse-for them and for others. Christianity is not a causitive factor, any more than heterosexuality causes rape. And this is what is upsetting to many Christians. They are as repulsed as any one else by these sociopaths. We need to not put the easy labels on these things. Christians and non- alike should have the same reaction to the KKK or the militia movement or discriminatory behavior toward anyone.
And that is really what I'm hearing everyone say here!!!
Dwight, Christine, Alexa, Nancy..
Respect. Tolerance. But don't try to tell me how I think and feel is wrong. Respect my beliefs. I doubt Dwight defends the shooting of a nurse at an abortion clinic. I think that would be an insult to imply that he does. And equally insulting is the way the label of satanist/immoral humanist has been thrown at many here.
There's a very big difference between listening with care and dissecting for a retaliatory attack.
