Jim:

Thanks for starting this thread. As one of my tools, I've been using FIb numbers for a while with some success and your screen fits well. I'll try to contribute some thoughts as time allows and the thread develops.

On the latter point: I applaud your suggestion to keep narrow and common the parameters for suggesting stocks to review. Failing to keep this discipline often results in too much noise - too many posts and stocks and not enough time, at least if one wants to trade. Unfortunately, IMO, the 56's and other spin offs threads have suffered this fate. If I don't read the thread nonstop, there are quickly 500 + posts. I really don't want to be a mouse potato. However there are a lot of good posts on those threads as you know (yours are some of them).

One suggestion, if I may. For newcomers to the thread it might be helpful if on each week's list of potentials or picks or what ever they'll be called, you might post the paramaters/screens used and the exhortation to do one's own DD. One of the things that I liked in the early posts (but not seen lately) was the affirmation that stocks were not buy recommendations, but offered for further study.

Thanks again for this thread and all the other great work I've seen you do on SI.
