Conversations like that go on at the bar/club/poolside/golf game all the time. Would this possible person at WalMart be a floor sweeper or the CEO? Would the info be in writing or subject to your interpretation? Hey, I ask any question I can of any person and try to get as much out of them as possible, and if I dont succeed the first time I try try again. If the person "cannot" tell me, they wont. If they do tell me, its not MY fault. Depending upon the relationship I have with the person, I will use discretion on what I repeat, where I repeat it, and how/when I repeat the information. But..."illegal"? There are all kinds of "gray" areas...it is what the legal system and court cases are made of. Now, everyone else...pleeez disagree with me/challenge me. :)
