PS:

I just filled up the tank of my car paying much less
than what I used to pay 10 years ago. My computer is several zillions
times better than the 286 with 20 mgb of hard disc that I had then and at the same costs only a small fraction of the old one. While I was already using the internet then, I could not have imagined what it has now become (there was no www, no browsers for example, nor sound or video.....in fact a very limited number of people were using it), etc etc. Inflation? Unemployment? Internal Debt? PFE's OsKar? This thing is concave up.

Paul's letter: I have to say I have not decided if its Bullish or Bearish. Yes, of course, it is always Bearish to have a Bear give up. On the other hand lets follow the argument to its ultimate consequences assuming the premise to be right. Let us assume then that the markets are draining excess of liquidity with the aim of evaporating it.. thus producing a deflationary effect which in turn is Bullish for the market. Repeat until it crashes..?

I think we all agree there will be a correction but I don't think it will necessarily be an earthquake. From my point of view the worst thing that we could face is coming from Europe. If the Euro somehow takes off then we could face a serious financial crisis..We now have a rather easy way to finance our external debt which is not available to the other countries..and this eventually translates in a tremendous advantage over our competitors. But this is not coming any time soon, I hope.

Have a good weekend
Regards

Victor
