ISAAC:

Thanks for some great suggestions...

I'm trying to keep the maintenance of the 13's rolling portfolio as simple as possible... I've seen too many noble attempts to maintain portfolios on other threads that soon went unattended...

I'd like to try and limit the number of 13's stocks to about 50 in any given week, prior to the weekend pruning, after which 10 to 15 stocks with the best momentum will be carried forward into the next week... Then, the process starts over again, adding new stocks to the 13's portfolio...

I've listed the scan I used in a prior post... If 50 of us are using 50 different scans, we'll wind up with hundreds of stock suggestions each week... This will be too overwhelming for practical follow up... Focusing on the the 13's scan rolling 40-50 stocks each week allows us to do a more effective TA and FA analysis, as a group, on each stock... If we had 5 to 10 dedicated TA and FA analysts we could expand our horizons...

The kind of stocks we are seeing in the 13's scan have the right stuff for potentially big gains... If we find one or two winners in a week we'll do very well...

With the above said, all ideas are welcome... Anyone wishing to set up some type of tracking apparatus is welcome to do so... If we keep things simple the 13's will work for us...

Thanks again for your thoughtful input...

Jim
