Thanks--interesting article, Clark. I, too, am long on CIEN and based upon the company's responsiveness to the market (96 channel product) and its systems for the LEC's I believe this is a strong growth situation. I was also impressed with World Com.s statement that Ciena's products actually worked better than they had planned and that this was a respite, not a cancellation. What many people are overlooking is that with the MCI acquisition, a six month expansion hiatus had to take place just to consolidate the two systems, and that as the acquireor WC will call the shots for new systems giving Ciena a serious "leg up".

No one in their right mind would expect 500%+ continued growth, an margins will always slide a bit as competition increases. The key is to expand the market that is being serviced and in beating out competitors with better technology. It would appear Ciena is doing both.
