Hello thread - just read the last ten or so posts - and quick message to those who are hoping for a MSFT acquisition of CHKPF. Very simply put, NO .

Several reasons why - CHKPF still deals a large percentage in Unix, mainly SunOS from SUNW, which of course is a large conflict for MSFT - MSFT already has their own product and really needs only to build a few more features to make the product complete (Proxy Server), so why buy a billion dollar plus company - and also, MSFT's style, much like CSCO's is to buy very small companies, not like CHKPF.

So, forget about it.
