Someone asked when earnings were to be released. Ascend plans to released earnings April 16th after market close per Gary Korn.

What kind of fantasy world do you live in? It happens all the time, why do you suppose it is called the "worldwide wait?". SI has been very responsive to my browsing, relative to other cross-country requests.

Sorry to harrangue you, I find your advice typical of those involved in internet service (although I don't know that you are). A shrug and a "it works ok here" (as they log in through a LAN).

Again my apologies, Sector, but I like to rant every once in a while, and ramping stock prices on hot air like Lycos/Excite/Yahoo has sent me over the edge. Often when people reference a "news" article you come up with a page, actually I don't even wait on the page, but it is generally filled with 30 or so little images the designers thought made it look real cute, then some flashing idiocy (some of which keep getting transmitted). All sorts of eye candy and a column of text so thin of content and thinn on the page, ... And the hosts expect to eventually get paid for transmitting this junk composition. Imagine that!
Techweb I've noticed had some throughput, some others are a bit enlightened about this. The MOST clueless are places like ABC, ESPN, etc. Gawd awful. That's why, ever since the Olympics debacle IBM has de-emphasized consumer internet service and instead goes to the corporate market where real bucks are spent.

I Just want to remind you how inadequate the general level of consumer access is, you might think it bullish but the machines just don't do the job.
