Dave,
I found this thread a month ago and have been through the first 1500 or so messages. You and the rest of the guys have posted an amazing amount of information. I really appreciate the time and effort that has been given.

Anyway, I have been playing around with WOW Deluxe and various ideas posted trying to find a method of trading suitable for myself. As you can imagine, I have had many questions, some I eventually answer, others linger. I would appreciate if you can help with the following:

1. I have been using your DNS System Scan with a buy alert at 8 on IBD 75/75 stocks. The stocks that fall out of the scan most times have many buy signals generated in a relatively short period of time. It would seem the first alert after a basing period is what you would look for. What is your buying philosophy with stocks that fall out of your DNS scan equal to 8?

2. I have been looking at Dahls Primary Trend on many charts. Have you ever traded based on Dahl changing direction from a downward slope to upward. I have read many times where Dahl is used as a confirmation if it is above zero. It would seem that more of the run would be caught with the change in slope. In addition, Dahl can be above zero and sloping down which appears counter productive. Your thoughts are welcome.

3. What is your philosophy concerning trading near an earnings release date? In a pure TA sense I imagine earnings release dates are ignored, however, I could also see not trading if earnings are to be released in the near future.

Thanks in advance to Dave, or anybody else on the thread who maybe able to provide guidance.
