I agree on the restraint in building new rigs as critical, and that's why I asked the question on future offshore-rig count. Message 3872522 But sometimes I wonder, if the bullish case for the sector is so compelling, why is the sector ranked 195 out of 197 by the IBD. The drop in oil price has not affected the near term prospects of the deep water drillers, yet they tanked with the rest. And long term, oil demand has to keep climbing, so why the gloom? Surely somebody is wrong: them or us? Am looking forward to seeing your analyses posts. Thanks. Tulvio
