I have been listening to your conversation and I feel I have a few things to add: 1) One should never invest in a startup that you can't afford to lose. 2) That said, they were a number of critical errors Depo mgt did/not do that contributed to the collapse after ODAC in Dec. 3)Depo had an agreement with the FDA concerning the trial sizes. The nature of neoplastic menegitis left little doubt about the lack of living patients after a few months using Methotrexate. However, there are people still living three years after treatment with Depocyte. How come this never came up? 4)Many patients were diagnosed too late for full depocyte treatment 5)Many patients were NOT TOLD by their doctors of the treatment for the side affects, and therefore these were exaggerated in the trials. 6)the head of the ODAC was NOT at the meeting in Dec and the person in charge was a dr whose mission was in statistics. With no statistically significant studies, Depo was left unprepared for this. I blame Ed Ericson's arrogance for this. 7)Depo has a dr on staff who taught most of the ODAC members, but he wasn't the speaker at ODAC. I believe, that he didn't even attend. Again arrogance of top mgt. Basically, Depo got caught with their pants down. It NEVER OCCURED to them that this wasn't a cakewalk and because of this they came off as trying to pull the wool over the ODAC's eyes. Every concern ODAC had has a verifyable explanation, how come no one spoke up? With top mgt gone, I still have hopes that Depocyte will be approved and as such have purchase more shares, but not enough too bankrupt me.
