OT chrome
Not promo but proto as in prototype. We do some advanced development work with MSFT and often get some pretty raw bits to evaluate. One would need a very close working relationship with the MSFT development team and a thorough knowledge of the internals of their OS to use SW in this condition. I believe there will be about a thousand developers receiving early copies of Chrome probably in mid-summer. It takes a lot of effort to make anything work - you need server components, client components, and content which makes use of chrome capability. Don't look for any significant chrome content until late this year if then... but based on our preliminary work it will be worth the wait, this stuff looks great when it doesn't break. If you like to get early looks at buggy SW, you should be a member of MSDN (Microsoft Developer's network) and get on some of the beta lists for SW. Frustrating but fun, especially if you have a couple of machines you can afford to crash (which happens routinely as in every few hours when using early beta code).
