Rob,

What a nice present this will be! It reminds me of the early Mac, when on CIS, I'd ask for something and someone would write it. This will be perfect for updating my quote.com portfolios.

It looks like you moved it, though? It's not available for download at the site, right now. Thanks in advance for a wonderful thing!

Linda

FYI.

This is from a post by Grow on the Yahoo! board. This method is pretty slick for html page refresh.

"Kurt quoted a method (based on applescript)
from Rob Henerey for auto refreshing a page.

Here is another method ...
a) create a www page (it can be on your desktop)
which contains the HTML below (I hope yahoo
leaves the HTML alone ...?)

b) change the number after "content=" to the
number of seconds delay ...

c) after "src=" enter the URL which you want
to auto refresh ...

d) open the page with Netscape ...

___________________ HTML for page starts here_________

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE> Apple Share Price </TITLE>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content=60>
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET ROWS="*,">
<FRAME SRC="http://quote.yahoo.com/q?s=AAPL&d=1d" NAME="body">
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

Dear Rob,

i just downloaded your script, but I haven't installed it yet. i was just wondering, can you specify which url you wish to reload, or is it simply the active page?

I usually have three or four windows open at once, and flip back and forth for different info.

Welcome to the board and good luck
