The XAU is heavily weighted in Barrick and Placer. Ian Mcavity claims ( gold charter and analyst) that the Toronto Gold and Silver index is a better indicator. The index includes silver but that makes up very small component of it. Problem as I see it is that The Forcaster only shows the XAU. If the Toronto index could be charted ( possibly it can be) I might get a better degree of comfort with a more balanced index. Any comments?
