regarding the continuation of the recent runup.....
I am a newcomer to this, but the level of enthusiasm here regarding the markets response to an OPEC accord concerns me. We have seen roughly a 30% rise in most stocks in the sector this month as you all know, which makes me wonder if an accord is already priced into the stocks. There is no "surprise" factor that would suddenly cause buyers to jump in, as this meeting has been well publicized, and so it seems to me any buyers should already be in. Who will the buyers be at higher asking prices next week? Will the fundamentals of the companies really improve significantly as a result of an accord, or do you believe
that these companies are still undervalued at todays prices? I'd love to see a buying frenzy as much as anyone here, but it seems like the world has little faith in any lasting benefit from the meeting, and I wonder if this will dampen the response of the market.....thoughts?
